POWER DOWN YOUR
PC, any attempt to resolve the situation,
invariably compounds the problem, and can make it that
much more difficult to recover data.

you hear any noises eminating from the drive area, this should be treated with extreme care, what
you could be hearing is the heads hitting the platter
surface and scattering
or fragmenting your data throughout
the drive. It is
very
important that you
do
not
attempt to power up again,
instead

NOT USE HOMEMADE TOOLS. Reinstalling any operating
system could mean rewriting over your hard drive and could
make the situation of your damaged data worse.

NEVER OPEN THE
HARD DISK. Any storage medium
should only be opened using advanced technology ,
approved by the storage manufacturer, and used by
qualified engineers , only a specialised company can offer you this .

If you
are using SOFTWARE for data recovery, make
sure that it is VALID for your problem, any software is not
always effective in the majority of cases. Use of such
software has its place in simple cases, but in certain
circumstances can result in further damage to your drive.
